Moving files from one place to another Using Move command in Powershell

This command moves the file from present location to the destination ALSO it has the capability to rename the destination file name. e.g. –

Following command is to move the file from D drive to a folder powershell-

move-item D:\MyFile.txt -destination D:\Powershell

Following command is to move and rename the file MyFile.txt from D drive to a folder powershell as MyFile1.txt-

move-item D:\MyFile.txt -destination D:\Powershell\Myfile1.txt
